- CENTRO DE INOVAÇÃO E TECNOLOGIA EM COMPÓSITOS – CITeC - O CITeC é um grupo de pesquisa criado em 2012 com sede na UFSJ visando o desenvolvimento e caracterização de materiais compósitos laminados, particulados, híbridos e estruturais de matrizes poliméricas e cerâmicas para aplicações, principalmente, no setor aeronáutico, automotivo, construção civil, óleo & gás, naval e ortopedia. Um dos pilares do grupo é a reutilização de resíduos sólidos minerais ou industriais como fase reforçadora de compósitos sustentáveis em diversas aplicações da engenharia. Além disso, o grupo destaca-se pelo uso de técnicas estatísticas na avaliação de materiais compósitos, tendo um número significativo de artigos em periódicos internacionais de alto impacto.
