Brazil is one of the largest orange producers in the world, and it is one of the most consumed fruits by the population. As a result, large amounts of waste are generated, with the need to reuse them in order to reduce the environmental impact, in addition to being an alternative for extra income. Researchers have been studying the possibility of using orange residues in the production of bioadsorbent in order to carry out treatment of contaminated effluents, since the adsorption process is a very viable and effective technique for the removal of contaminants. In this work, studies and simulations of the interferences that the process variables have on the production of the bioadsorbent from the orange pomace were carried out. During the simulation, it was seen that the ideal values for the production are those shown in the mass and energy balances. Therefore, rules were created to simulate such interference in the InFuzzy program, bringing satisfactory results.
